This article explains how to open a shared mailbox using OWA.


What you will need:


1/ A licensed mailbox in Office 365

2/ Your Office 365 login credentials

3/ A computer with internet access and a web-browser

4/ The name of the shared mailbox (ie SALES) set up by your Global Administrator




First, login into OWA using your own mailbox credentials (How to access OWA)


(Note. Shared mailboxes do not have a password, so you cannot login to OWA directly to the Shared mailbox - you have to first login as yourself).




Click the ACCOUNT MANAGER icon (top right): 





Click OPEN ANOTHER MAILBOX:  





Type the name of the mailbox that has been shared with you (ie. SALES):-





Click OPEN



The Shared mailbox will appear in a new TAB.
