Pre-requisites: Public folders must first be set up on your Office 365 portal, and permissions assigned to the necessary licenced users. For assistance in setting up Public folders, please call 01933 229133.
By default, Public Folders are hidden from view with a users Outlook. Here is how to reveal them:
Open Outlook
At the bottom of your navigation pane, click the ... button:-
... click FOLDERS
Public Folders will now visible in your Navigation window:
Click > to expand the contents of the Public Folders
Click > until you see the folder you want
How to Create a Shortcut to a Public Folder
You may want a Public Folder (ie a Calendar) to appear in the Calendar Pane:
Here's how to add it:
Locate the public folder you want to add
Right click the folder
Click "ADD TO FAVORITES"
Click "ADD"
You will now see this public folder under your Calendar Pane*
Repeat the above steps for all desired public folders.
*TROUBLESHOOTING TIP: If a folder does not appear after adding it to your favorites, then browse to the following folder and double-click it from there to force it to appear:
> Public Folders > Favorites > {doubleclick the folder}
